Jejak Kasih - Part II

Pervert & lustful - that's Suri

Madad was back from the sea resort of Hull (ha ha) for a short vacation, although judging from how I had to fetch him at home, it was more like stranded at home than a vacation.

We had another round of jejak kasih - this time with the Science 1 group (opps... and Chamat too). Any gathering of this clique is incomplete with the mandatory reminiscent of the drama in the Chemistry lab when Fadli collapsed from malnutrition. The episode that followed smeared Suri's name forever, for he was since then accused of taking advantage of the situation for his own lust.

Nothing changes after 15 years....

Jejak Kasih I - 2nd Day Eid-ul-Fitri

If I may say, Zadin was never good at posing for a close up
Sharap langsung tak nampak mcm national rugby player
I should doctor the picture to get rid of clues
As promised, the jejak kasih with the one person I had not spoken for a very long time finally took place. I initially planned to have sumptuous dinner at a hotel in Kuantan since I was starving throughout the day, but Zadin and Sharap turned an hour late - by which time the kitchen could have been closed. So we adjourned to Starbucks (yes there is a Starbucks in Kuantan), ending my unending boycott of Starbucks.

Zahadin did not change a bit, so was Sharap. It was a very nice coffee chat indeed, although I did most of the talking. But a nice change.

MCKK Debating Team's Annual Dinner 2004

The kids kindly organised an annual dinner - you see, kids nowadays are so rich they can afford a dinner of RM25 per head at a classy restaurant, on top of that pay for fat old boys like moi for the dinner too. None of the other coaches could make it - so I had to drage Canoe (Class of 93) to temankan for the ride back to KK. It was a nice experience - especially to catch up with Canoe after all these years. He was quite close to me back in the UK while we were doing A-Levels, but then both moved on in different directions since.

The teachers were there - it's nice to see Anand, Yatie, Umi, Yeop Zain, Samhong, Sherry and all the other staff there, they were as nice as ever. It was a good weekend.

Mesyuarat Tergempar Kumpulan Budak Gemuk & Botak

Epit called a mesyuarat tergempar recently to catch up:

1) Mpro is starting his MBA soon
2) Epit himself is going to be 'quarantined' at Intan for 6 months
3) Ameba allegedly is going out with someone
4) Badut is getting married next year

It was called at Restoran Tupai-Tupai near Istana Negara/Wisma Putra. I was cursing throughout the night because my tummy got in the way and spoilt what could have been a good dinner - Epit, for whatever reasons, booked a space where we had to duduk bersila.

Imagine fat people, with big belly, sitting around Japanese tea table eating sumptuous dinner.

This is about one month late - but was occupied with so many things and was not really in the mood.

The BNB Reunion - in tribute of the Christmas and Easter holidays spent at Jita's apartment at Earl's Court in 1996-2001 period - commenced with a karaoke session. As expected, we had to restrain Fazurin lest the mic did not change hand.

Dinner was simple and although the plan was to adjourn to watch a movie, unfortunately we forgot we are no longer late teens, early 20s kids.... our backs were aching, we were tired and we had to rest.

So we went back straight to Lanson Place in Ampang, after chitchating and play cards, had to adjourn to our bedrooms!

Next morning - Fazurin, Jita and Allen went swimming and to the gym while I continued having my beauty and fat sleep.

All was well, it was worth the hassle and the efforts - you need to keep some part of your younger days with you in later years to remind you of how easy it was back then.

Oi!!! Mana aku kena thrash masa main Declare? Dasar penyebar fitnah. Ingat-ingatlah sikit tazkirah pasal Israk Mi'raj haritu tu oi. Fri 3-Sep-2004 06:23

West Wing at night

West Wing at night
Izrin (Class of 2000) who was in the coach team coaching the boys, wanted to have a glimpse of West Wing (he was in 22). So while the boys (Afiq, Pojue and Haqqa) accompanied Izrin for a tour, I went for a shot of West Wing at night. Not bad?

<The shaky light was intended, nothing to do with my amateurish status>

Jadi, sudahkah engkau berkenalan dengan mamat dari Brazil itu? Thu 25-Nov-2004 03:18

Koleq souvenirs!

Ignore the stained floor he he
Nice tie heh?
Now I am undecided whether to go or not for centenary
As a token for helping the teams, koleq (Cikgu Umi, Cikgu Sharifah and all) got us some souvenirs. Quite nice - a tie (which I bet will never see the light outside my closet since I have never put on MCKK tie after 11 November 1994), a mug (which I have put in a cupboard full of MCKK stuff) and a nice bag...

To the rest - jangan jeles, nak pi beli sendiri.....

<I do get commission for this promotion... so go and buy from Coop, Aiwa still has some shares in Coop>

so when exactly is the centenary celebration next year? Tue 12-Oct-2004 01:27

To generations of MCKK debaters, PPM is an important part in our upbringing in koleq. Debating and PPM gave us an identity - one which we carry till this very day (mine - a bruiser).

Nothing changes over the years. Koleq's preparation over the years was very regimented, which often exhausts the debaters so much they have to collapse half way through.

Some pictures that I took of the English debaters in between debates to catch some sleep - while the rest of us (teachers, juniors and coaches) looked on.

So much air liur was spilled over this PPM

For Honour We Stand, With Valour We Fight

The motto that we coined in 1994, together with the cheering T-Shirt and banner that we started, survived till this very day. Interesting.. Chamat should claim trademark-ship for he was the one who coined that motto.
